Production Operatives

Taskmaster Resources Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Production Operatives for our client based in the Sheffield area.

The successful candidate will have a high degree of mechanical aptitude, mechanical and heavy manufacturing experience and excellent communication skills.

Job Duties will include:

· Ability to work on various production machinery throughout the manufacturing process, including lathes, milling machines and saws.

· Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate tooling and ability to select the correct speeds and feeds.

· Carry out basic quality and testing checks.

· Conduct daily maintenance checks on machinery and equipment.

· Read and interpret engineering drawings (both metric and imperial).

· Adheres to all Health and Safety guidelines.

Manual handling will be involved so applicants must be physically fit and have a good understanding of written instruction.

The working hours are based on a rotating shift pattern :

Days : Monday - Thursday, 06:00 - 16:15 (with 30 min unpaid lunch)

Lates: Monday - Thursday, 16:15 - 02:00 (with 30 min unpaid lunch) and would carry shift premium of 23%

Pay Rate:

Day shift - £12 p/h

Afternoon shift - £14.76 p/h

Overtime will be available at premium rates.
