Production Operatives

CONTRACT TYPE: TEMP TO PERM

Due to business growth, we are recruiting for our client at their site in Irlam they are looking for:

Production/Manufacturing Operatives to add to the existing team.

Location: IRLAM

HOURS: 4 on 4 off

2 days, 7 am to 7pm, followed by;

2 nights 7pm to 7am

PAY: £11.50, RISING to £11.96, after 12 weeks

Also - Day shifts, 6 am to 2pm, Monday to Friday

Rate, starting at £11. 00 per hour

Working in a fast-paced 24 x 5-day operation plant, the ideal candidates will be a highly motivated team member who has experience of working within a manufacturing environment.

Individuals will have an exceptional eye for detail, be enthusiastic and will be committed to their own personal development.

Key Responsibilities / Challenges:

• Ensure the quality of all products is maintained to a high standard at all times according to customer requirement, through quality inspection of all manufactured parts and compliance with outlined procedures displayed at the workstations
• Packaging of plastic products in accordance with written customer specifications
• Accurate recording of production data on production sheets
• Responsibility for work area housekeeping

The preferred candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Experience of working in a fast-paced production environment; previous experience of working in a plastics manufacturing environment would be advantageous
• Flexible and adaptable to meet production needs; team worker; the ability to follow verbal and written instructions (should have the ability to read instructions in English)
• Have the ability to get involved with basic technical aspects of production to ensure efficient running to meet production demand
• Aptitude for quality inspection and compliance

Due to the location you must have your own transport of live local to be able to get there for the required start time.
