Production Operative

As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in operating machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe production.

Salary and Benefits:

• Starting basic hourly rate of £11.45, with a shift premium rate that corresponds to your shift pattern.
• A 3-shift pattern hourly rate, including Shift Premium, would be £14.89.
• Continental 4 - Shift Pattern, averaging 42 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Set-up and operate manual and automatic machinery on a daily basis.
• Record productivity, scrap, and quality data.
• Carry out visual attributes and physical dimensions inspection of the product to maintain quality.
• Perform machine maintenance and handle breakdowns.
• Participate in quality and productivity improvement activities.
• Undertake general housekeeping tasks, including cleaning machines and maintaining a clean working area.
• Adhere to Health & Safety and Company policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• IT literate.
• Previous manufacturing experience, ideally in a shift work environment.
• Minimum 4 GCSEs at Level C or above.
