Production Operative

Location - Sandwich, Kent

Salary - £12.00 per hour

Job Type - Temporary contract

Schedule - Day shift (7 a.m. till 6:15 p.m.)

Work Location - In person (Must be able to travel to Sandwich on a day-to-day basis)

Do you have previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment?

We have a great opportunity in Sandwich for a Production Operative to work for one of our clients. In this role, you will be working on a temporary ad-hoc basis. This position could become a full - time temporary - permanent position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the management team with any manual handling
  • Organising the warehouse
  • Working on a tray wash
  • Sorting through seeds
  • Packing food items such as the baby lettuce that they supply to external food businesses.

Skills and Experience

  • Able to follow instructions with the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work weekdays and some weekends.
  • Stand for long periods of time.
  • Have experience within a fast-paced environment.
