Production Operatives, Cambuslang, 37.5 hour week, £11.45 per hour + Overtime

We are recruiting Production Operatives to work in Cambuslang, Glasgow

This is a long term position working Monday to Friday 6.15am till 2.15pm OR Monday to Thursday 2.15pm till 10.30pm and Friday 2.15pm till 9.15pm with the opportunity of transferring to a permanent role after a probationary period worked.

What to expect

  • Assembly of timber kit wall panels for the construction industry
  • Working to fabricated drawings and detailed work instructions
  • Operation of hand and power tools
  • Quality control - ensuring work carried out to specific guidelines, measurements and tolerances
  • Manual handling
  • Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety rules and regulations
  • Ensuring work areas kept clear, tidy and hazard free

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a production role or transferable skills from a different working environment
  • A solid work history
  • Attention to detail and a desire to deliver high quality work
  • Ability to work from drawings / diagrams and follow work instruction
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance
  • A desire to settle in long term or permanent employment
