About the Company:
My client is a rapidly expanding manufacturing company specializing in the production of new and re-conditioned industrial packaging. Our diverse range of products includes reusable storage containers, transport packaging, stacking boxes, Euro-boxes with lids, industrial pallets, special H1 pallets, and more.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
*Cleaning and sanitizing machinery, production areas, and warehouse spaces to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.
*Performing regular cleaning of communal areas such as the canteen, changing rooms, and toilets.
*Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting surfaces as needed.
*Emptying trash and recycling bins and ensuring proper disposal of waste materials.
*Following established cleaning schedules and protocols to meet quality and safety standards.
*Reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements:
*Previous experience in industrial cleaning or similar roles preferred but not essential.
*Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness.
*Ability to work independently and efficiently, with minimal supervision.
*Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 06:00 -14:00 or 14:00 - 22:00 or Monday to Thursday 22:00 to 06:00. or Monday to Friday 12:00 to 20:00. Over time will be available depending on business needs, candidates are advised, they must be able to get to Westhoughton for 06:00 and home after 22:00 as there are restrictions with public transport for the shift start times and finish
