Assembler / Production Operative

Uckfield, Monday - Friday 7:45am - 4:15pm / 3:15pm finish on a Friday, £11.44 per hour, Temporary (could go permanent for the right person)

We are delighted to be working with an established client who are seeking an Assembler / Production Operative in an ongoing temporary basis. This is a great opportunity for experienced individuals looking for an assembly position in a varied working environment, located conveniently in Uckfield. The successful applicants will be working as part of a small team to complete various production, assembly, and warehouse duties. There is the potential for this role to become permanent for the right person. Duties include:

• To complete light assembly work of components, through to full assembly of finished product. All work completed in accordance with issued specifications and work instructions.
• Finishing all products ready for packing - prepping, cleaning, checking
• Some basic computer terminal work
• Complete all relevant documentation and ensure products comply with marking and tagging requirements

The suitable candidate will offer experience in an assembly-based role and be confident using hand tools. You will need to demonstrate good dexterity skills, be physically fit with good stamina and be comfortable standing throughout the shift. Jobholders must be reliable, hardworking, and flexible, with a problem-solving approach to work. You will be a team player, and have come from a similar working environment as an assembler or production operative.

The Package

- Temporary with a view to becoming permanent

- £11.44 per hour paid weekly

- Holiday accrual

- Uckfield

- Monday to Friday, 7:45am - 4:15pm (3:15pm finish on a Friday)
