Production Operative Days - Martock  - Temporary

£10.50 per hr 


My client is the UKs number one manufacturer, in their sector, of mechanical products for the automotive and care industries.  They are now looking to recruit a temporary Production Operative for their site in the heart of Somerset. This company very much has a 'family' culture, offers an excellent benefits package and has a low staff turnover with many staff being with the company for a number of years.

Role:
The successful Production Operative will stitch / build / assemble components across my clients range of safety products.  You will join a team of approx.10 staff and report into the production supervisor.  Whilst you will carry out many of the works on your own there is an excellent team environment and it is essential you enjoy working in this environment. As part of the role you will be expected to:
 
·Stitch and Assemble components
·Actively check all components for good quality
·Regularly undertake multi-skilling training
·Participate in team building activities and have involvement in decision making
·Ensure quality and process conformance
·Actively participate in team or project based activities where required
 
The successful Production Operative MUST:
 
·Have previous manufacturing experience
·Have excellent communication skills
·Able to work with minimum supervision
·CNC experience would be helpful
 
Benefits:  Hours Mon-Thurs 07.30-16.30 and Fri 07.00-12.00 (38.5hrs)


This role will suit a candidate who has been a production operator, CNC operator, machine operator and is commutable from, Ilminster, Wincanton, Yeovil, Somerton, Ilchester.
