Pay Rate: £11.44ph - £14.75ph

***Must have access to own transport due to hours and location ***

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our clients close knit team in the heart of Wickford. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient and timely production of their products. Responsibilities include:

- Operating machinery and equipment in accordance with safety protocols and production guidelines.

- Monitoring the production process to ensure quality standards are met.

- Performing quality checks on products to identify any defects or inconsistencies.

- Assisting with the setup, adjustment, and maintenance of machinery.

- Following standard operating procedures and production schedules.

- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.

- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

Shift Patterns: This will be on a rolling rota basis so you must be able to work the below hours.

- Day Shift: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm

- Late Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

- Night Shift: 10:00 pm - 6:00 am

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

- Strong attention to detail and quality.

- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.

- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.

- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
