Production Operative - Rotating Days/Nights

We are currently recruiting production operatives willing to work a 12 hour shift pattern. Our client continues to grow every year and is currently in its next expansion phase so it is a very exciting time to join this company with some excellent long term career opportunities.

This is a temporary to permanent role.

As a production operative duties include

• To oversee the operation of Polyamide production.
• Ensuring that quality standards are achieved and update and maintain machine setting cards.
• Support the Supervisor in running daily departmental meetings , presenting targets,toolbox talks and quality/production/H&S metrics.
• Ensuring machinery is maintained and serviced accordingly
• Ensuring the correct use of PPE
• Be able to communicate at all levels both verbally and written
• Experience with machine operation or quality processes an advantage but not crucial as full training will be given.

Machinery Used: - Rubber extrusion machine and Polyamide extrusion machine(after training) - FULL TRAINING PROVIDED

SHIFTS:

• SHIFT 1: 6am to 6pm - Monday to Wednesday AND 6am to 2pm on Thursday (44 hours)

ROTATES WEEKLY TO

• SHIFT 2: 6pm to 6am - Monday to Wednesday (36 Hours)

Pay rate:

• £12.56 per hour (before training) + £86 monthly attendance bonus
• Salary will go up once fully trained.

This site in Yatton is easily accessible by train from Weston-super-Mare or Bristol. The site is local to Clevedon.
