Adecco are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Production Operative to join our client's packaging team in Hexham. As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our packaging processes. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Start date:

ASAP - Due to the growth of the business - The cliient is looking for a candidate to start ASAP.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor packaging machinery to ensure efficient production
• Perform quality checks on packaged products to maintain high standards
• Assemble packaging materials and prepare them for production
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment
• Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organised work space

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a production operative, preferably in packaging
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor issues
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work in different shifts if required
• Physical fitness and ability to lift/move heavy objects
