Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 + Pension + Extensive Benefits Package

Days Based - Mon to Friday - Early finish Fridays.

Key Skills

• Supply Chain within Manufacturing
• Experience of Engineering Drawings
• MRP/ERP or Similar Systems in Manufacturing

The Role

• To run and action MRP (Material Requirement planning) controlled purchase order processes using current ERP system (approx. 120 lines per week)
• To communicate Open Purchase Order 'books’ to selected Vendors.
• To manage (e.g.) weekly liaison with selected Vendors to:

o Confirm all POs are received by Vendors.

o Update ERP (Enterprise system with any Due Date and Quantity changes advised by Vendors

o Assess the impact of Due Date and Quantity changes and mitigate with Vendor where possible.

• To escalate/communicate Due Date and Quantity changes that cannot be mitigated.
• To provide timely (e.g. daily/weekly) updates to Purchasing Team and specifically Commodity Buyers
• Approximately 1500 active SKUs (stock keeping units) through approx. 40 vendors.
• Key member of the small, busy Purchasing Team
