Production Manager
Based in Thetford, Norfolk
Hours: 39.5 hours per week; 8:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 8:00 to 16:00 Friday
Salary: £40,000 per annum + Bonus

Our client, a long established manufacturer based in Thetford are looking for a Production Manager to join their team. The three key areas for this role are; Production Management, People Management and New Product Development. Within these areas duties will include:
PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT
In this role it is essential that you have previous proven experience in both production and people management. Our client is looking for someone who can offer solutions and improvements, an individual with high attention to detail and a positive outlook.
The package offered starts with a salary of £40,000 per annum and an annual bonus payment of up to £10,000. Holiday starts at 21 days + Bank Holidays increasing to 24 days + Bank Holidays on completion of 3 years service and 26 days + Bank holidays on completion of 5 years service. Free parking, Employee Assistance Programme and Quarterly Staff events. Private healthcare is available on the completion of 12 months service.

PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT
- Planning of production to ensure dispatch deadlines are met
- Managing sales orders against stock levels and production targets
- Maintaining quality standards throughout the production process
- Managing budgets and production costs
- Managing staffing numbers including permanent and agency staff
- Overseeing employee training and development
- Ensure staff are working to required health and safety standards
- Working collaboratively with wider management on NPD projects
- Taking responsibility for the production process of new products, providing input and drafting processes
- Offering resolution on any process related problems
