An excellent opportunity for experienced Engineer looking to join a rapidly expanding business that invest heavily in their staff with training and development.

Established over 40 years ago, this market leading manufacturing company are known in their industry for providing highest quality of products. Due to continuously expanding workload, they now require a Production Engineer to join their team.

Within this role you will be part of a specialist production engineering team. You will use software packages to fully engineer a wide range of components ready for manufacture, building strong relationships with the on-site manufacturing team as well as the design and quality engineers

This role would ideally suit an engineer with experience in CNC looking for a hands on role working within a precision engineering business.

The Role:

• Liaise with both production and design teams to support the economic and efficient manufacturing of components. Reviewing of intent parts for tolerances and suitability for manufacturer, design machining fixtures for production components using 3D modelling software, produce CNC programs using hyperMILL software
• 40hrs a week, Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am - 2pm

The Person:

• Precision machining background
• Experience of producing CNC programs
• Understanding of GD&T
• CAD/CAM
