Adept are delighted to be working with a leading manufacturer based in the heart of Sheffield with a great reputation who are now looking to recruit a Production Coordinator to join their team.

SHIFTS - Monday - Friday - 7.30am - 4pm - Early finish on a Friday!

SALARY - £25,000

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Adept Engineering are partnered with a leading manufacturing organisation in Rotherham, who due to recent retirement are looking for a Production Coordinator to join their site and assist in all production planning across site

Duties

  • Update and issue daily, weekly and monthly production statistics including Warehouse Receipts and Daily Tracker.
  • Update weekly Production Director’s monthly report.
  • Integrate above with Production Director’s SOP statistics.
  • Produce a month end report
  • Generate and update jobs
  • Update rolling 4 week Jobs on File
  • Production/Engineering Managers/holidays
  • input/receipting.
  • Generate/collate and issue weekly bulletin.
  • Generate weekly overtime summary.
  • Collate and issue overtime reasons
  • Weekly Scheduling Meeting - Minutes & continuous update of rolling 4 weeks, plus responses
  • Continuous improvement in all Production Admin office systems.
  • Liaising with training providers.
  • Co-ordinate Health & Safety Training as identified by the H&S Manager.
  • Maintain H&S registers and identify/organise routine refresher training as required.
  • Update training records for H&S Training and non H&S training to meet with Customer Audit requirements/Evidence.
  • Database maintenance;
  • Contractor Inductions
  • Safety Concerns
  • Risk Assessments / Method Statements.
  • New starter inductions
  • Assisting H&S Manager with maintenance of the BSI 18001 system - typing / uploading JSI, Reports and Work Instructions, as requested.
  • Organise, Minute Joint Health & Safety Meetings.
  • Minute other meetings as required.
  • Assisting Health & Safety Manager in any continuous Health & Safety issues/projects e.g. Fire & Emergency, DSE, COSHH Review, PPE updates, Questionnaires, Safety Audit Plan, System improvements.
