Product Specialist
Swift Placements are working with a brand-new manufacturing client based in Leeds with offices also based in Preston, who are looking for a Technical Product Specialist.
As a Technical Product Specialist, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between the technical teams and the clients/customers. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all technical product related inquiries. Working closely with the development, engineering, and sales teams, you will ensure that the products meet and exceed the expectations of clients/customers while maintaining a deep understanding of their technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
Product Expertise: Develop a comprehensive understanding of products, including their features, functionalities, and technical specifications. You will also be responsible for producing quotes for customers and clients.
Technical Support: The Technical product specialist willprovide technical guidance and support to clients/customers, including answering inquiries, and resolving challenges in a timely manner. Raising claims and queries.
Client/ Customer Engagement: The Technical product specialist will establish and maintain strong relationships with clients/customers, serving as a trusted advisor and technical expert throughout the product lifecycle.
Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from clients/customers regarding product performance, usability, and features, and communicate insights to relevant internal teams for continuous improvement. Maintaining product data and ensuring circulation as required.
Collaboration: The Technical product specialist will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment on product strategy, roadmap, and priorities. You will also be responsible for supporting the Sales team with their sales activities.
The role:
Full time permanent position
Location: Preston or Leeds!
Salary on offer: £22,500- £25,500 DOE
Progression available to various other teams (engineering/sales etc).
Strong Pay Matrix System!
Hours: Monday- Thursday 8:30am- 5:45pm. Fridays 8:30am- 4:30pm

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in customer service or customer facing roles.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using IT Packages

- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
- Strong problem-solving mindset.
- Team player with good collaboration skills.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
