Product Owner - Pharmacovigilance - Burton Upon Trent/London

Pharmacovigilance Product Owner required for a leading client based in Burton Upon Trent. My client is seeking a product owner to come onboard and take accountability for the activities related to pharmacovigilance (PV) safety systems, encompassing the assessment, adoption, and upkeep of technological solutions that facilitate PV operations. This role involves pioneering new technologies that support PV, collaborating with industry peers and regulatory bodies, and exploring opportunities to experiment with, implement, and integrate innovative solutions into the operational practices that bolster global PV expansion.

Hybrid - the opportunity to either work in the office in Burton-Upon-Trent or London, Paddington. 2 days required on site per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a tech-centric business expert, offering support for projects, initiatives, and the ongoing upkeep of designated PV systems.
  • Engages in the analysis and resolution of a broad spectrum of intricate issues related to processes and systems.
  • Oversees the maintenance, support, and management of safety systems, emphasising efficient upkeep of the system's business configuration.
  • Leads the management of Systems Implementation and Compliance.
  • Orchestrates the launch and significant updates of new PV systems, including integration with external systems.
  • Facilitates solution deployment to business users, including communication, training, and user support.
  • Acts as a process expert, exploring opportunities to enhance compliance, quality, and efficiency.
  • Ensures adherence to project processes across all PV Systems projects.
  • Engages with both internal and external stakeholders to define information needs and produce User Requirements Documents.
  • Operates in an Agile environment, continually reviewing business needs, adjusting priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks.

Salary:

My client are offering a salary of £50,000, plus discretionary bonus.
