Product Owner (Payments & Finance Operations) - Up to £55,000 - Leicester
Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm - Hybrid Working Available

Macildowie Data Analytics has recently collaborated with a global manufacturing brand to recruit a Product Owner to join their finance function in Leicester.


The key objective is hold previous experience operating as a Product Owner/Senior Business Analyst with exposure to managing financial biased projects or familiar with financial systems in IT.

Main Responsibilities

  • Partner with the finance team ensuring that their needs and expectations are represented in the product backlog and development process.
  • Leading on finance related projects such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Sales Ledger and Financial products.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including customers, partners, senior stakeholders and other departments to gather feedback and insights, and incorporates this feedback into the product backlog and development process.
  • Participate in regular sprint meetings, providing stakeholders with regular updates on project lead times and completions.
  • Monitor the product's performance and gathers feedback from customers, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and prioritise future improvements.
  • Contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of business analysis best practices, including self-development, to maximise effectiveness and productivity.
  • Evaluating potential solutions, assessing feasibility, and providing recommendations on the best course of action.
  • Supporting clients and understanding data dependencies along with system or other project impacts.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and recommending innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


The Candidate

  • Experience working in a Product Owner/Business Analysis role or similar.
  • Agile certifications Desirable.
  • Exposure to managing and coordinating finance biased projects.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Able to commute to Leicester.
