Diamond Search Recruitment are delighted to be representing our client, a very successful and large scale, who are recruiting for a Product Marketing Manager who is very creative and digitally minded. The role is initially a 12-15 month Fixed Term Contract with potential to extend.

Working hours - Hybrid working, 2 days in the offices in Gillingham and 3 days from home.

The role - this role requires the ability to manage and understand pricing, mechanics, e-commerce, promotions and advertising, strong excel skills and an aptitude for data manipulation, measurement and analysis of large data sets and Ecommerce reports. Additionally you will possess excellent attention to detail and have lots of creative ideas to keep our marketing fresh and responsive as well as flawless spelling, grammar and proofreading skills.

The Product Marketing Manager will be required to do the following tasks:

  • Work with the Marketing Manager and Business Heads to develop and implement a marketing plan across the range of marcomms to maximise product sales and profitability, including new product launches - e-commerce, digital, social media, sales support materials plus print and advertising campaigns.

  • Work with the team to optimise our e-commerce platform strategy for A brand suppliers as well as HS brand and exclusives:

  • Understand the market and marketing conditions and to be able to work with category Managers on strategy and comms.

  • Develop and manage your team.

  • Manage the budget effectively and report on finances monthly to the Marketing Manager.

  • Use Qlik sales data to analyse marketing activity, drive future strategy and highlight the findings to demonstrate ROI. In addition

  • Report monthly on activation and ROI of all marketing activity to Marketing Manager and use the analysis to direct future activities.

  • Help to define and articulate our brand tone of voice across all consumer, equipment and partner touch points.

  • Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for ensuring a high standard of written English in all copy produced for the business.

The successful Product Marketing Managershould ideally be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 5 years plus marketing experience preferably within a B2B industry.

  • Understanding of e-commerce platforms and potential.

  • Successful campaign management.

  • Management experience preferred.

  • Advanced excel (essentials) and strong data manipulation ability.

  • Solid budget management skills.

  • Knowledge and understanding of Qlik would be helpful.

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent marketing qualification.
