Product Manager
  • Start Date: ASAP 
  • Inside IR35 £300-350 depending on experience
  • Location: London, 2 days in office.
  • Contract Duration: 6 Months (initially)

We are seeking a Product Manager with a strong background in telephony services and agile product development. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the product strategy for a segment of our products or services, focusing on continuous improvement and stakeholder communication.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Manage the portfolio of Telephony service, including transitioning to a new centralised service.
  • Utilise analytics and audience research to gain insights into user behaviour and product performance.
  • Report on product analytics and user feedback to measure success and inform improvements.
  • Engage with stakeholders and technical staff to understand business needs and confirm objectives.
  • Create and maintain a product roadmap and backlog aligned with the organisation’s digital strategy.
  • Lead agile delivery teams, collaborating with Project Managers, Engineering, and User Experience leads to meet deadlines.
  • Optimize the product during the build phase to meet business, user experience, and technological needs.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, delivery partners, and suppliers.
  • Manage the product budget and maintain the business case for the product.
  • Contribute to vendor contracts and manage commercial relationships.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of telephony technologies including Unify (Siemens) portfolio, Mitel, handset provisioning, voice & telephony, UCaaS, MS Teams, networking (SIP, ISDN), cloud and SaaS, Contact Center, Call Groups, Hunt Groups, and Auto Attendants.
  • Experience with migration and transformation of voice/telephony services.
  • Ability to apply industry knowledge and insights to product strategy and planning.
  • Proven experience in product decision-making and vision creation based on research and data.
  • Understanding of user needs for internal business systems or production teams.
  • Familiarity with product development, life-cycle management, and agile methodology.
  • Competence in planning and forecasting product budgets and delivering within those constraints.
  • Project management experience and the ability to direct teams to achieve objectives.
  • Experience in managing commercial and contractual relationships with third-party suppliers and partners.
