Job description:

Our Product Developers are responsible for the early-stage development of concepts through to the handover to the Industrialisation team.

• Development and delivery of recipes, paperwork and samples to exceptional and consistent standards.
• Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed in a timely, accurate manner
• Ensure on a day to day basis the smooth running of the Test Bakery facility with regards to raw materials and equipment
• Maintain product workbooks to track and trace developments for all samples.
• Work with the Test Bakery team to drive development of existing and new raw materials and support the Industrialisation team in their implementation.
• Own and drive Department related projects to the required standard and outcome (allocated as per requirements)

How to be successful in the role and at FBC

• Ideally chef trained experience (Pastry, Bakery) but not essential.
• Knowledge of Bakery raw materials
• Experience in a commercial kitchen environment
• Passion for creativity and innovation 
• Ability to deliver consistent, high-quality samples and concepts
• Proven track record in maintaining good working relationships
• Willingness to commute to different site as and when required
