Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum, depending on experience

Adecco Bournemouth is looking for someone to join our client, a fast-growing international electronics company dedicated to pushing boundaries and pioneering new products in emerging markets. We're on the hunt for a talented Product Design Engineer to help drive our client's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new products from concept to reality, utilising sketching and 3D design in Solidworks.
• Demonstrate expertise in plastics, including their properties and design principles.
• Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to tackle diverse design challenges.
• Stay ahead of the curve by researching and integrating new processes and technologies.
• Drive our client's product roadmap by generating innovative ideas and bringing them to fruition.
• Emphasise Design for Manufacture to ensure efficient and scalable production.
• Continuously enhance existing products to maintain our client's market-leading position.
• Coordinate closely with manufacturing teams in the UK and Far East to ensure successful production.

About You:

• Proficient in 3D design using Solidworks or similar tools.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within teams.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in product design is desirable.
• BA/BSc in Industrial or Product Design.

Benefits:

• Competitive salary, up to £38,000 depending on skills and experience.
• Regular working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
• Generous holiday entitlement: Starting at 22 days plus Bank Holidays, increasing annually to a maximum of 28 days plus Bank Holidays.
• Sabbatical opportunity: One-month paid sabbatical after 6 years of service
