The successful Product Buyer will involve researching and sourcing new products, with emphasis on sourcing market leading products and ensuring these products meet company quality and safety standards.

The role will involve:

  • Maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers through effective communication and visits.
  • Monitoring stock levels and supplier chain effectiveness.
  • Placing orders for consumable items for production, such as foam, mirrors and PVC.
  • Following the purchase order process and ensuring orders are received on time.
  • Managing product returns on a daily basis.
  • Keeping the ERP system updated with correct product information.
  • Evaluating and monitoring current supplier performance relating to quality, delivery and pricing

To be successful in this role of Product Buyer we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

  • At least three years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills and be confident speaking with suppliers
  • Ability to make clear decisions on new product choices
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to multiple deadlines
