My client a leading luxury travel company based in Manchester, due to continued growth and success are looking to recruit a Product Build and Loading Manager. Do you work in travel? The role in a nutshell…

The successful candidate will manage the delivery of the brands broad and diverse products via reservations and promotions systems, website. You will ensure that external agent partners have the information, pricing and relevant offers they need to sell the companies holiday experiences effectively and efficiently.

As the company continue to grow and expand their regions and countries of operation, their systems will improve and evolve, the Product Build and Loading Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering the success of these.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Commercial and Reservations teams as well as engage closely with colleagues throughout the business, both in the UK and globally.

Key Duties:

  • Manage the loading, communication and storage of pricing, promotions and offers and any related information, to allow internal and external teams to book our products efficiently and accurately.
  • Develop an excellent understanding of all systems including the reservations system, putting in processes for quick, accurate loading and effective management of expiry dates and all information held therein.
  • Ensure consistency in loaded products
  • Troubleshoot and find solutions to problems and implement improvement.
  • Oversee supplier contracts, airline deals, product information to meet the needs of the business in terms of timing, competitiveness, and quality.
  • Manage the relationship and connectivity between the flights, operations and commercial teams in preparation for all product launches to enable profitability by product.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Team to ensure that all promotions/rates or initiatives are workable within the promotion management System.
  • Act as point of reference regarding product queries and amendments, across the UK business and linking to Product and operations teams globally.
  • Ensure all brochure Terms & Conditions are accurate and up to date for each product, working with the General Manager, Customer Care Manager, and legal services where necessary.

Key requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a similar product, contractor or planning role
  • Alongside excellent communication skills, experience in using reservations systems is essential.
  • Tour operator or airline experience highly desirable, ideally with experience in cruise, short and long-haul destinations.
  • High level of accuracy, literacy and numeracy, and work well under pressure whilst maintaining a positive, flexible, and approachable approach to work.
