PROCUREMENT SOLICITOR

This leading global firm are looking for a Procurement Solicitor to join their Manchester office with hybrid working.

Role Overview

As an Associate in the procurement team, you'll play a key role in managing both contentious and non-contentious public procurement projects in the UK and internationally. Your responsibilities will include advising authorities and bidders, designing procurement projects, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

This position offers exposure to major clients across diverse sectors. Additionally, you'll have access to extensive personal and professional development opportunities through various programs.

Candidate Profile

The firm are seeking candidates with:

- A solid understanding of procurement law, including the Public Contracts Regulations 2015
- Familiarity with related legislation, such as the Procurement Act 2023 reforms and key case law
- Experience in handling procurement projects for both public and international clients
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously when needed
- Excellent client relationship-building abilities and business development acumen
- An interest in contributing to team strategy and financial goals
