Summary

Our Shop Fitting team in the Procurement Department is now looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised Consultant to join the team. This team is responsible for all the projects related to stores, including Trolleys, Shelves, Ovens, Checkouts, Undershelf lighting, and much more!

As a member of the Shop Fitting team, you will find yourself in a dynamic role, often managing multiple projects at once and communicating with a range of different stakeholders, from national to international colleagues. You will be fully responsible for your projects from sourcing, to tendering, to testing and delivery with plenty of opportunities for progression within the department.

We have moved to a hybrid working model with a recommended 2 days in the office per week for appropriate Head Office and Regional roles, empowering our teams to choose how and where they work best. What you'll do

  • Managing and overseeing procurement projects from requisition to completion
  • Researching new solutions and suppliers
  • Test new solutions in stores when necessary
  • Managing the tender process and costs for your projects
  • Place orders and coordinate delivery schedule
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders, international colleague and external suppliers
  • Lead on communicating changes, new initiatives and project roll outs to the business
  • Making sure new equipment is installed correctly by creating effective procedures
  • Preparing summaries, overviews and project status documents for senior management
  • Analysing the market and business processes, generating new ideas on subject matters of responsibility, and constantly looking to contribute with value to the business
  • Challenge existing specification and contracts with an innovation and sustainability focus
  • Proposing, communicating, and implementing cost saving potentials to senior executive and regional stakeholders

What you'll need

  • A background in project management with tangible examples of transferrable skills
  • Previous experience in Procurement is desirable
  • Ability to multitask and deliver on set timelines
  • Interest and ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and able to manage conflicting deadlines
  • Comfortable challenging existing processes and implement change
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience in roles with an element of technical understanding
