Procurement Officer / £37,300 / London / Hybrid / 7 Month Fixed Term Contract
Overview:

A large non for profit organisation are currently seeking a Procurement Officer to join their team and run the end-to-end procurement process.

This is an excellent opportunity to grow your procurement experience further

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with suppliers to grow relationships and ensure contractual requirements are being met
  • Ensuring value for money is achieved when deciding what supplier to choose for the project
  • Being the 1st point of contact for contractors, both successful and unsuccessful in the process
  • Liaising with internal teams regarding upcoming projects and procurement processes
  • Ensuring the evaluation process is fair

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • 3+ years experience within a procurement position
  • Studying towards a CIPS qualification
  • Experience in a the private sector would be advantageous
  • An excellent communicator
  • Hard-working and ambitious
  • A team player who thrives when working with others towards shared goals

Package:
  • Up to £37,300 basic depending on experience
