Procurement Manager

Recruit4Staff is proud to represent their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Procurement Manager to work remotely for a leading company based in Powys.

Due to the nature of work, our client requires somebody from an FMCG based background, preferably in packaging. 

For the successful Procurement Manager, our client is offering;

• £56,000 to £62,000 P/A Salary depending on experience.
• 8.30 AM to 5.00 PM Monday to Friday
• Permanent position

The Role - Procurement Manager:

• As a Sourcing Manager you will oversee global sourcing of liquids and films
• Ensuring supply security and cost-effective contracts.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet business needs
• Maintain supplier relationships, and support local purchasing.
• This role reports to the Sourcing Director and offers flexible work locations across Europe.

What our client is looking for in aProcurementManager:

• Proven experience in sourcing or purchasing, preferably in the packaging industry.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to negotiate contracts in English to ensure strategy implementation. Any other language skill is considered as a plus.
• Strong self-leadership skills with the ability to work autonomously in an international working environment.
• Proficiency in fostering strong relationships with suppliers.
