Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000

The role of the Procurement Manager - Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:

• Procurement Manager position dealing with various roofing and cladding systems such as: metal roofing & cladding, flat roofing, refurbishment, renovation, maintenance and rainscreen

• Responsible for the purchase and hire of all materials and equipment required for the successful completion of projects
• Ensure that the department adheres to all the processes and procedures
• Line manage a small team (Buyer, Procurement Coordinator & Logistics Supervisor)
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers
• Applying for credit applications / setting up trading accounts with new suppliers
• Manage the purchase order systems and internal product inventory
• Work closely with Design and Project Management to ensure smooth running of projects

The ideal applicant will be Procurement Manager - Roofing & Cladding Systems with:

• Must have Procurement experience, ideally within the construction industry
• Experienced in people management of a similar sized team (3)
• Ideally CIPS qualified or equivalent
• Ideally experienced using Xero, Costtracker and Procore
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Commercially aware with excellent negotiation skills
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• High levels of organisation, willing to learn, team player
