A Great vacancy has become available in Weymouth for a process Operator.

Job Role: Process Operator

Location: Weymouth

Salary: TBC with Overtime and Shift enhancement rates

Hours: Initial hours of work: 7.30am until 5pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am until 12pm on Friday.

On completion of training, it will be alternating Early and Late Shifts

Job Role

To prepare customer products, this includes masking preparation and jigging activities.

This role will include:

  • Masking, Cleaning and Packing of Components.
  • Adhering to specifications and work instructions.
  • Jigging and Prepping.
  • Demasking, De-Burring.
  • Adapting to a variety of tasks, including general housekeeping of the factory and yard.
  • Cleaning consumables stock management.
  • General errands as assigned by the Production Manager and Cell Lead.
  • Maintaining a safe place of work, ensuring all activities performed are in accordance with regulatory and company Health and Safety policy and requirement.

Skills and experience required:

  • Competent in handling Aerospace and Defence Components
  • Surface coating experience - Anodise/ Plating
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive within a fast-paced manufacturing business environment
  • Reliable and responsible
  • Methodical and able to work off own initiative towards set targets or goals
  • Excellent team worker
