Acting for a roll call of leading mid-market firms, the team's far-reaching sponsor-side activity ranges from big-ticket buyouts and divestitures to secondary transactions and continuation fund deals. The Private Equity team are market leading, with a long-standing reputation, having done Private Equity since the early days of the firm, advising private equity sponsors, management teams, and portfolio companies on the full spectrum of private equity matters.

As part of the role you can expect gain exposure to high quality mid-market Private Equity transactions including fund formation, private equity house internal governance and management matters, regulatory matters, tax structuring, leveraged buy-outs, acquisition finance, management teams, secondaries, growth and venture investment.

To be successful in your application, you will:

  • Be a UK qualified lawyer with 2-3 years' PQE.
  • Have private equity experience from a top-tier international or city practice.
  • Have strong academic qualifications.
  • Be ambitious, with a genuine commitment to develop their professional and legal skills and the profile of the team.
  • Be articulate and confident to deliver at the highest standard within a team of highly competent associates at the top of their game.
  • Be able to fit in well within a friendly and collegiate team.
