An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor to join our client based in South Shields. This role is ideal for an ambitious individual looking to progress their career within a highly regarded practice. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive environment that values professional growth and delivering an excellent client service.

Day to Day of the Role:

• Managing a varied Private Client caseload with a focus on non-contentious probate matters.
• Handling estate administration work, including advice on inheritance tax and preparation of IHT accounts.
• Drafting and preparing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney for a diverse range of private clients.
• Ensuring all client work is completed to the highest standards of accuracy and legal compliance.
• Working towards fee income targets and contributing to the practice’s growth and success.
• Providing exceptional service to clients, maintaining the firm’s reputation for excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years+ PQE with previous experience managing a Private Client / Probate caseload
• Ideally STEP qualified or working towards it (the client will support you with this)
• Proven track record of managing your own caseload.
• Commitment to achieving fee income targets.
• Dedication to providing excellent client service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
