An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor to join our client based in South Shields. This role is ideal for an ambitious individual looking to progress their career within a highly regarded practice. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive environment that values professional growth and delivering an excellent client service.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Managing a varied Private Client caseload with a focus on non-contentious probate matters.
- Handling estate administration work, including advice on inheritance tax and preparation of IHT accounts.
- Drafting and preparing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney for a diverse range of private clients.
- Ensuring all client work is completed to the highest standards of accuracy and legal compliance.
- Working towards fee income targets and contributing to the practice’s growth and success.
- Providing exceptional service to clients, maintaining the firm’s reputation for excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years+ PQE with previous experience managing a Private Client / Probate caseload
- Ideally STEP qualified or working towards it (the client will support you with this)
- Proven track record of managing your own caseload.
- Commitment to achieving fee income targets.
- Dedication to providing excellent client service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
