Job Title: Private Client Solicitor

Location: Greater Manchester/Cheshire

Salary: Starting from £35,000 +

A well-established, Leading Legal 500 law firm renowned for its dedication to providing exceptional legal services to clients nationwide. With a focus on building strong client relationships and delivering tailored solutions, we pride ourselves on our professionalism, expertise, and commitment to excellence. We are currently seeking a talented Private Client Solicitor to join our team. In this role, you will handle a diverse caseload of private client matters, providing expert legal advice and support to individuals and families on a wide range of personal legal issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of private client matters, including wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney.
  • Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring their needs and objectives are met effectively.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including wills, trust deeds, and probate applications, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Conduct estate planning and wealth management strategies to minimize tax liabilities and preserve assets for future generations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing empathetic and supportive assistance during sensitive and challenging times.

Requirements:

  • 2 years' minimum fee earning experience
  • Qualifications are desirable but not necessarily.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in handling a broad range of private client matters.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing a busy caseload effectively.
  • Membership of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) or willingness to work towards accreditation preferred.
