Private Client Solicitor

A great opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor to join a thriving Wills & Probate team based in Heaton Moor.  They offer a competitive salary and a great work life balance.

The firm is based in Heaton Moor and Heaton Chapel with an additional partner office in Stockport Centre, Altrincham and Heywood.  They provide a broad range of Legal services for both the business industry and private clients. They pride themselves on their ‘can do’ approach to their clients’ needs and their ability to offer support and advice. They have a team of nearly 100 across their 5 offices and they have an additional training suite.

Main responsibilities:

The role involves-
  • Meeting with clients to understand their needs within a structured process. 
  • Making recommendations
  • Preparing bespoke Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney and Declaration of Trust documents, ensuring they are accurate and meet the clients personalised requirements. 
  • The role also involves handling a probate case load.

They work on a case management system and there is a strong admin team to support you. They do not use dictation unless necessary.

Although based in their Heaton Moor office you will also meet clients in their homes, care homes, hospitals and at their other office so it’s important you are flexible and able to manage your own diary.

What they are looking for –
  • A qualified Solicitor or CILEX experienced in private client work.  Full time preferred but part time would be considered.
  • You will need to have experience in face-to-face client meetings.
  • A full driving licence and be a car owner.
  • STEP qualified would also be preferred but not necessary.
