Situated in the prestigious location of Lincoln&rsquo;s Inn since 1770, our client offers specialised legal services to both private and commercial clients. Renowned for their expertise in family and private client work, they are among the leading firms in the UK in this specialised field. Additionally, our client boasts an outstanding reputation in various other areas of law, as recognised by Chambers and Legal 500.<br /> <br /> <strong>Description:</strong><br /> The Private Client department comprises two sections: the legal section and the tax and trust section. The legal section, staffed with solicitors and legal executives specialising in probate and estate administration, collaborates closely with the trust and tax section, which consists of qualified and unqualified trust and tax accountants and practitioners. As a Private Client Solicitor, you will assist Partners and team members in providing comprehensive lifetime and testamentary tax and estate planning advice, preparing wills, trust documentation, and offering guidance on tax and trust matters.<br /> <br /> <strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br /> - Provide tax and estate planning advice, trust structuring advice, and prepare wills and related testamentary documents.<br /> - Collaborate closely with the tax and trust team to ensure seamless service delivery.<br /> - Advise on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, trust and company law, probate, and mental capacity matters.<br /> - Offer advice to resident and non-resident individuals, trustees, and family offices on various UK tax legislations affecting their investments.<br /> - Assist in pre-immigration and emigration planning, trust creation and distribution strategies, estate administration, and tax-efficient asset structuring.<br /> - Handle tax and trust matters related to divorce, contentious trust, and probate claims, charities, philanthropy, and family-owned businesses.<br /> - Stay updated with changes in legislation and market developments.<br /> <br /> <strong>Qualifications:</strong><br /> - Strong background in Private Client work.<br /> - Good knowledge of tax, trust, and private client law.<br /> - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.<br /> - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.<br /> - Track record of meeting time targets and billing requirements.<br /> - Desire and ability to stay abreast of legislative changes and market developments.<br /> <strong>- 4-6 Years PQE as a private client solicitor.</strong><br /> <br /> <strong>Remuneration Package:</strong><br /> - Salary:&nbsp; Can be discussed but would usually range from around &pound;70,000 to &pound;90,000 DoE<br /> <strong>Other Benefits:</strong><br /> &nbsp; - 4x Life Assurance<br /> &nbsp; - Permanent Health Insurance<br /> &nbsp; - Medical Insurance (after successful completion of probation period)<br /> &nbsp; - BUPA Cash plan (after successful completion of probation period)<br /> &nbsp; - BUPA Health Assessment (after successful completion of probation period)<br /> &nbsp; - BUPA Dental<br /> &nbsp; - Auto-enrolment in the firm&rsquo;s Group Personal Pension Scheme (after 1 complete calendar month qualifying period)<br /> &nbsp; - Discretionary Bonus Scheme and Introduction Bonus Scheme<br /> &nbsp; - Interest-free season ticket loan after 3 months<br /> &nbsp; - Cycle to Work Scheme<br /> &nbsp; - Holiday Purchase<br /> &nbsp; - Wellbeing Programme<br /> &nbsp; - Gym flex<br /> &nbsp; - 28 days holiday<br /> <br /> We look forward to welcoming a dedicated and talented individual to our client&rsquo;s esteemed firm.
