Private Client Solicitor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Solicitor to join a prestigious British law firm in Edinburgh. The firm works with multinational companies, small businesses, families and individuals in numerous sectors across the UK and internationally.

As their Private Client Solicitor, you will collaborate with other lawyers and paralegals and provide first class advice to a wide range of private clients including HNW individuals. Your caseload will range from wills to probate, power of attorney, tax planning and succession.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, drafting wills and powers of attorney, setting up trusts including personal injury trusts, or advising on tax issues.

You will also actively participate in business development and support trainees when required.

Skills and Experience

  • Newly qualified lawyer, or a lawyer with up to 3 years of relevant experience gained in a reputable law firm
  • Excellent academic background
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills
  • First class drafting skills
  • 'Client first’ attitude
