The chance to work for a well respected, legal 500 firm with amazing benefits and a brilliant work enviroment. You would be working in their impressive private client team as a legel secretary. Below is in insight in what your day to day duties may include.

Duties:
* Opening files and assisting with CDD process. Getting ID from client.
* Liaising with clients and fee earners to organise meetings
* Managing fee earners diary and inbox (where appropriate)
* Assisting with bookings for conferences, restaurants where necessary.
* Taking telephone calls and messages for fee earners.
* E-filing and making sure everything is saved correctly to DMS in house style.
* Document production, and reformatting documents to ensure all in line with house style.
* Preparing and sending out correspondence
* Calling back Wills/Deeds/files for the fee earners using forms on Firm's intranet
* Formatting Wills/Deeds and other documents through the Practical Will/Trusts precedent
* Paper filing (for originals) as PCD like to keep an actual file with all this on. eg. all AML in the pink folders, original letters, copies of the deeds/Wills etc) as well as e-filing it all.
* Archiving of files and documents and filling out the relevant forms from the Firm's intranet
* Use the precedent letters for Probate matters which are under PCD Precedents/Probate.
* Preparing posting slips for monies coming in and going out.
* Preparing Probate Information Sheets
* Amending Excel Accounts
* Billing - preparing billing guides and draft bills for fee earners. When bills have been processed by finance - saving them to DMS, finalising by adding narrative or bill summary, and preparing it for fee earners to send to client.
* Any other ad hoc duties as requested by team members.
