Taking full rains in terms of leadership and style, the successful Engineer will be responsible for leading and creating bespoke designs and calculations for process equipment.

As the Senior Engineer, you will help create a model and a pioneering culture to inspire, nurture and develop the technical employees alongside the technical strategy with the core objective being to advance the overall technical capabilities of the business and ensuring they're miles ahead of competitors when it comes to what's on offer to customers.

This role would suit a Chartered Chemical or Process Engineer who comes from a hands-on engineering background within the Chemical, Pharma and Oil & Gas, have a track record in design and practical technical leadership who wants to leave their mark permanently within a growing company. The Role:

• Work on large scale projects with values typically from £2M upwards
• Develop cost-effective process solutions to meet client requirements promptly
• Prepare various project documents such as Design Output Registers, Process Flow Diagrams, and P&IDs
• Maintain project-specific design files ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
• Provide engineering design advice to project and sales managers
• Participate in sales meetings, engineering reviews, and commissioning meetings with clients
• Conduct site visits for process/system reviews, troubleshooting, and optimization
• Collaborate with commissioning section to verify plant operation against design specifications
• Review and approve design output in accordance with Engineering Authorities Matrix
• Lead and supervise a team of process engineers
• Contribute to product development to enhance company intellectual property and know-how
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and improve process design execution through adherence to company procedures and staying updated on industry best practices

The Person:

• Achieved Chartership status
• Degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
