Principal Engineer - Digital Products & Engineering

Hybrid - Basingstoke - 3x a week

As a Principal Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation by evaluating and adopting new technologies, while leading complex projects with excellence in execution.

In this hands on position, you'll provide technical leadership and expertise to engineering teams, mentor and inspire colleagues.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in modern application architecture methodologies (Service Orientated Architecture, API-Centric Design, etc.)
• Strong background in cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), SDLC, etc.
• Ability to learn and adapt to multiple programming languages
• Experience with digital platform support and API ecosystem scaling
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Additional Preferences:

• Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.JS, React, TypeScript, Next.js, etc.)
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform)
