We're on the hunt for an exceptional Principal Data Architect to join a team that is spearheading a global project. This role is integral to driving their ambitious transformation programme, aiming to revolutionise the end-to-end experience for stakeholders through modernised systems and data-led digital asset development.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Lead the execution of comprehensive data strategies, translating complex business requirements into understandable and usable data models.
  • Design and build high-quality data models and pipelines, leveraging the latest in cloud technology to align with our long-term business objectives.
  • Spearhead the simplification of our data landscape, reducing tool redundancy and ensuring efficient data collection, management and utilisation.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and IT Enterprise Architects to align data and business strategies, fostering a culture of data-driven decision making.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, engaging with senior management to outline options, opportunities, and strategies for time, cost and quality optimisation.
What Experience You’ll Need to Apply:
  • Demonstrable expertise in Data Vault methodology and cloud technologies (Azure and/or AWS).
  • Proven leadership in data migration and solution design on modern data platforms.
  • Strong foundation in agile methodologies with a track record of working in a hybrid model.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to simplifying data systems and processes, backed by a history of successful project delivery.
What You’ll Get in Return for Your Experience:

A base salary of up to £100,000 plus hybrid working, substantial pension contributions, performance bonuses, 38 days holiday and a range of personalised benefits for an ideal work-life balance.

Expectation is 1-2 days per week in the Guildford office.
