Senior/Principal/Associate Civil Engineer - Development Infrastructure - Manchester - Full Time - Permanent - Hybrid/Flexible

We're looking for a Senior, Principal or Associate Civil Engineer in Manchester!

The Company: Is a global, independent, multi-disciplinary consultancy delivering sustainable engineering and design solutions across the built environment. They offer specialist expertise in master planning and urban design, that includes mixed-use developments, city centres, new towns and green spaces.

The Role:
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Civil Infrastructure Engineer to play a leading role in the design of some of the most exciting and prestigious civil engineering design projects in the UK and worldwide.

Working alongside a team of specialist engineers and technicians, as well as colleagues across a range of various engineering disciplines, you will ensure the delivery of technically excellent and profitable projects.

This will include the design of infrastructure, including roads, drainage, flood risk assessments, pavements, public realm, earthworks, utility infrastructure for both highway and drainage authorities (designed to adoptable standards) and developers, taking schemes from initial concept/risk identification, through appropriate approval processes and on to detailed design for construction.

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level in Civil Engineering (MEng or BEng).
  • Working towards, or achieved chartership with the ICE (CEng or equivalent)
  • Demonstrable experience in a Civil Engineering role within a consultancy environment.
  • Well versed in relevant civil design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, PDS, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage or Causeway Flow.

Desirable:

  • Experience of infrastructure as part of multidisciplinary buildings projects.
