This is a brilliant opportunity for a competent, experienced, Principal civil engineer to join a successful, well recognised, multidisciplinary design practice in the Plymouth office.
The team is expanding quickly, and with a busy, healthy pipeline of work expected for 2024 and 2025, the team is already looking for their next hire. The chosen candidate will be a motivated go getter who is keen to get stuck into the design process, as well as happy mentoring more junior members of the team. In time you will be offered the chance to progress within the company to become an Associate and an integral part of the team.
Our client works on a variety of lucrative and interesting civils projects many in the southern parts of the UK and further afield, with projects being focused towards residential and commercial drainage design and the chosen candidate will work on projects from inception through to completion stage.
The successful candidate will likely be degree level educated and have demonstrable experience gained from a consultancy environment. You will be confident using civils 3D, microdrainage/causeway, S278. You will have good practical knowledge and be a strong communicator. You will have the ability to mentor, train and guide more junior members of the team.
