Principal AI Engineer - £80,000 - £130,000 + bonus + private healthcare

Bristol / work from home hybrid

An excellent opportunity for a Principal AI Engineer to join one of Bristol’s fastest growing software houses. The role will play the central role in implementing AI and shaping the strategic direction of the AI function.

It would suit an AI Engineer with a broad understanding of emerging technologies and trends, who is able to pioneer the use of AI to drive innovation and create new business propositions.

The role will report into the CTO and be responsible for driving AI adoption at the business. It will require someone hands-on, with a desire to get things done; the role can either remain fully hands-on or take more of a managerial focus as the team grows.

To be successful in the role, you will probably have the following experience:

  • Experience as an AI Engineer / Machine Learning Engineer or similar
  • Hands-on experience developing AI solutions to create value
  • Experience working at a start-up or fast-growing software environment
  • Cloud based AI / ML solutions
  • Python
  • Ideally experience working with big data tech

The company have a hybrid working policy and you would need to be able to get to the office in central Bristol a couple of times a week.
