This post is key to supporting the Chief Accountant and Deputy Chief Accountant in maintaining the integrity of the Council’s accounts and producing the Statement of Accounts each year.

This role is the lead on collection fund and revenue accounting including the completion of notes to the council's statutory accounts, group accounts, cash flow statements and statistical returns.

• Do you have experience in working at Principal Accountant level in a local government closing Team?
• Do you have Collection Fund Experience?
• Does you have experience leading on local authority statistical returns?

This is a contract role for a Local Authority in London. Competitive contract rates of pay (inside IR35).
