Teaching Assistant
- Contract: 25.75 hours per week, 38 weeks per year
- Salary: NJC Grade C SCP 5-7
- Start date: As soon as possible
We are seeking to appoint a Permanent Teaching Assistant with a particular interest in sports and physical education to join our team. As a friendly and enthusiastic individual, you will work across our school, supporting various aspects of the curriculum. Your role will involve assisting in classroom lessons and working with small groups of children in the mornings. In the afternoons, you’ll be involved in supporting a range of sporting activities within the school and at sporting events.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about sports and wants to contribute to a school with an excellent track record of sporting achievements. If you are motivated to work with children, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching and learning activities across all curriculum areas for groups of pupils.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for sports.
- Organize and plan sporting events.
- Collaborate effectively with parents.
- Work safely, creatively, and flexibly.
- Prioritize tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
- GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).
