Recruiting a Dedicated Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Leeds!

Accelerate Teaching is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Leeds. This position involves working one-on-one with a child in Reception who has ADHD and Autism, providing essential support and encouragement throughout their educational journey. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in the development and progress of a child with special educational needs.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Providing personalised support, guidance, and assistance to the child in Reception.
• Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to develop and implement tailored learning plans.
• Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes the child's well-being and academic growth.
• Monitoring and recording the child's progress, and adjusting strategies as needed.

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Relevant teaching assistant qualifications or experience.
• A patient and empathetic nature.
• Understanding of ADHD and Autism and strategies to support children with these needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A valid DBS check.
