Primary Teaching Assistant

Position Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning process within our school. Working closely with teachers and students, you will provide individualized assistance, help maintain a positive learning environment, and contribute to the overall success of our students.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons
• Provide one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties or additional needs
• Help supervise students during class and break times
• Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources
• Support students in developing their social and emotional skills
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or young people preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training
