Primary Teaching Assistant - South Leeds

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team in South Leeds. The successful candidate will work closely with our teachers to support pupils in their learning, both in the classroom and in small group settings.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with planning and preparation of lessons
• Supporting pupils with their learning, including those with special educational needs
• Supervising pupils during class activities and breaks
• Maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment

The ideal candidate will have:

• Relevant experience as a Teaching Assistant, or similar role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to support pupils with a range of needs
• Good organizational and time management skills
• A relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
