Primary Teaching Assistant - Clapham

Career Teachers are seeking an experienced Primary Teaching Assistant for a fantastic Islamic Faith school in Clapham, South London! We are looking for someone to work with a Year 5 class, preferably with experience/skills in English, Maths, and ICT. This role is beginning immediately, and is full-time.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with class teachers to ensure each child fulfils their potential. You'll engage with students individually or in small groups, potentially including those with additional learning needs such as ASD, ADHD, Learning Difficulties, and more.

Qualifications and Experience:

We're looking for candidates with prior childcare or school-related experience - babysitting, tutoring, coaching, summer camps, teaching assistant roles, etc. While experience with special educational needs is a plus, it's not mandatory. You will also need:

• A valid and up-to-date Enhanced DBS, on the Update Service,
• Valid Right to Work status in the UK,
• And excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for education!
